The ASI management team possesses extensive experience in finance, accounting, government affairs and credit union operations. Their skills and accomplishments are reflected in their numerous professional designations, advanced degrees and business acumen.

Dennis R. Adams, CPA, CFP President and Chief Executive Officer
In addition to implementing ASI policies, Mr. Adams also routinely interacts with member credit unions, regulatory authorities, legislative leaders and others critical to the operations of the company. He is a Certified Public Accountant, Certified Financial Planner, and has been President and CEO of ASI since November 1990. Previously he served as the company‘s chief financial officer and Vice President of Risk Management. Mr. Adams has been involved within the credit union movement since 1976.

G. Duane Welsh Executive Vice President and General Counsel
Mr. Welsh oversees all involvement with state and federal legislation and regulation that affects ASI and its subsidiary, Excess Share Insurance Corporation (ESI), as well as any other legal issues. He has been with ASI since 1984. He previously served as corporate legal counsel to Homewood Corporation, in addition to ten years as deputy attorney general for the State of Ohio. |

Curt Robson, CPA Vice President of Finance/Treasurer
Mr. Robson, a Certified Public Accountant, oversees ASI’s accounting, financial reporting and investment functions. He has been with American Share Insurance since 1991, and previously served as a Senior Audit Manager for the Columbus office of Deloitte & Touche, LLP.

Kurt Kluth Vice President of Information Technology
Mr. Kluth is responsible for managing the company‘s computer systems, software, network infrastructure and systems security. Mr. Kluth has been with ASI since 2000, and is a graduate of the DeVry Institute of Technology. Mr. Kluth has worked in the insurance industry most of his career.

David Watson Vice President of Risk Management
Mr. Watson heads up ASI’s risk management department which is responsible for monitoring member credit unions for continued insurability, and oversees the underwriting of new applications. He has spent over 20 years with ASI, directly involved in the analysis, examination and underwriting of member credit unions.

Kurt Loose, CPA Vice President of Audit and Examination
Mr. Loose is responsible for the oversight of field examinations of insured credit unions. He also manages the recruiting, training and supervision of the audit and examination staff. Mr. Loose has been with ASI since 1998, serving in various exam and risk management functions, previously as Director of Audits. He obtained his undergraduate degree from Bowling Green State University, an MBA from Capital University, and is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Ohio.

Lori Solberg Vice President of Sales and Marketing
All sales, marketing, communications and public relations activities for ASI are managed by Ms. Solberg. Prior to becoming a member of the executive staff, she was ASI's West Coast Sales Manager since joining the corporation in May 2000. She has worked with credit unions since 1992 having also served as a regional account executive and marketing director at Autoland, Inc. before joining ASI. Ms. Solberg is a graduate of North Dakota State University.
